Everyone has seen the request to update Java and Flash software. While many people have tried to avoid using these software packages on their computers, it becomes necessary to use them for banking sites, on line databases, and other system software like Intuit’s Quickbooks and Quicken.
Last week a bug was being inserted into people’s Apple laptops and Mac’s through an update notice to update Adobe Flash. To avoid having to make a decision to update such software, it is best to simply download and install Chrome for Mac, since the Chrome browser automatically has flash in it and will never update it separate from itself. SO if you are using Safari and or Firefox on a Mac, and installed Flash to view youtube.com videos, remove this plug in and download Chrome for Mac. Use Chrome for all flash-based sites.
